HARTFORD, Conn., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. has teamed with S. H. Smith & Company of West Hartford, Conn., to offer professional liability coverage to law firms based in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Under this agreement, S. H. Smith & Company will market and underwrite this comprehensive standard lines program directly and through independent agents with accounts in those three states.
S. H. Smith has worked with independent insurance agents and brokers to meet the specialized professional liability coverage needs of lawyers for more than 30 years. The Hartford has provided Lawyers Professional Liability insurance for law firms in most states for more than 20 years.
